On many of my visits to Virginia's Eastern Shore, I had to stop by and visit the Assateague Lighthouse. My 10.5x19 inches painting of the lighthouse is done in colored pencil and watercolor. Built in 1867, the historic red and white lighthouse is 142 feet tall.
